The MC steel (Micro Carbide Steel) we use for our BLACK LINE has an ultra-fine carbide structure that enables an exceptionally sharp and durable cutting edge. Its high hardness ensures maximum stability and excellent cutting performance—even with daily use in the salon. The ability to achieve particularly sharp cutting angles and precise hollow grinds results in scissors with impressive cutting performance for techniques such as slicing, point cutting, and contour cutting. MC steel is manufactured exclusively in Germany, which stands for consistently high quality and absolute reliability.

The fully integrated cutting edge is a seamlessly crafted, precise cutting area with no visible transitions or steps. This ensures extremely smooth movement and distributes the cutting pressure evenly across the entire blade. Ideal for precise, clean work—from point cutting to slicing techniques.

Thanks to our specially developed welding technology, the BLACK LINE does not require traditional rivets. This ensures noticeably smoother operation, significantly less resistance when cutting, and greater break resistance. The design also impresses in terms of hygiene—organic residues can no longer accumulate at rivet points. The satin finish further enhances the smooth cutting feel. And because every movement counts: the BLACK LINE scissors usually weigh less than 40 grams – for effortless, balanced work at the highest level.

The secret lies in the perfect combination of high-tech and craftsmanship: the blade shape of the BLACK LINE is machined to an accuracy of one hundredth of a millimeter using state-of-the-art CNC grinding technology – in combination with the BLC dressing process (Blacklight plus Computer Edit). This ensures maximum precision in cutting performance. The whole thing is complemented by our flat, self-contained Smart Spin screw system. It can be individually readjusted and ensures silky-smooth, controlled movement – for a cutting experience that has to be felt to be believed.

With every BLACK LINE scissors, you receive a service package that is just as high-quality as the product itself. For two years, you benefit from our free maintenance service—including checking the cutting performance, testing and adjusting the screw system, professional cleaning, and targeted oiling of the pivot point.
